Summary:

It is not enough to simply hear the Word of God, you must also take action to be a doer of the Word. The best action you can take is to love others. Love will always line up with God's Word and
usher you into the place of overflow.

  1. God's Word tells us that we should have life in abundance, to the full, until it overflows (John 10:10 AMP).
    1. In order to reach the destination of overflow, you cannot tolerate anything less than abundance in the areas of health, happiness, wisdom,
money and joy in your life and in your home.
    2. God is well-equipped to do what He has promised, but you have a part to play as well.
    3. It is important to read the Word of God because:
      1. The Word will determine your thinking.
      2. Your thinking will determine your emotions.
      3. Your emotions will determine your decisions.
      4. Your decisions will determine your actions.
      5. Your actions will determine your habits.
      6. Your habits will determine your character.
      7. Character ultimately leads you toward your destination of overflow.
    4. Conversely, the wrong thinking will produce wrong emotions, which will produce wrong decisions, wrong actions, wrong habits and character that
eventually leads you toward the wrong destination.

  2. One of the greatest tragedies among Believers is hearing the Word and not putting a plan in place to act on what they have heard.
    1. Increase doesn't come because you heard the Word. You must also be a doer of the Word (James 1:22).
    2. Actions are very important to God (1 Samuel 2:3).

  3. To honor God means that His Word carries weight in your life.
    1. The actions in your life must be in line with God's Word.
    2. The actions that line up with God's Word will always be love actions. God is looking for love to be demonstrated in the life of the Believer.
    3. Love will cause you to go against your normal, fleshy actions.

  4. Your actions serve as seeds.
    1. You should be conscious of the actions that you take toward others (Romans 12:18-21).
    2. If you sow a bad seed, you are inviting that same action to be brought back to you.
    3. Plant the action that you want done to you (Luke 6:27-31).
      1. If you slap someone, you're sowing that action to come back to you. Likewise, if you bless someone, you're sowing that action to come back
        to you.
    4. The Word of love will produce love thoughts, emotions, decisions, actions, habits, character and ultimately a destination that you will love.

  5. Love in your life doesn't make you weak. It is the power of God (Ephesians 3:14-21).
    1. Every Believer is possessed by God's love (Romans 5:5).
    2. Like a car needs a battery in order to run, love is the battery behind everything you are trying to accomplish in your life.
    3. When you need to get results in your life, instead of saying something negative, say something positive to activate the power of God that is
      working in you.
