Summary:

To win battles, you must have the anointing of might, which is “the ability to accomplish anything.” Knowledge of the Word is the switch that will “turn on” the spirit of might. The Holy
Spirit will cause you to triumph over your enemies because of the Word
of God that is at work inside of you.

  1. Your victory is assured (2 Corinthians 2:14).
    1. The spirit of might shows up to assist you when you are faced with a battle (Psalm 24:7-8).
    2. A revelation of God will release the spirit of might.
    3. God is love, and He loves you. In fact, He wants you to be convinced of His love for you.
      1. The knowledge (or revelation) of His love for you will build your confidence and give you strength (Proverbs 24:5).
      2. This knowledge is available through the Holy Spirit.
      3. Knowledge produces strength and strength guarantees triumph.

  2. The Holy Spirit can only act on the Word that is in you.
    1. It is crucial to attend church regularly to fill up on the Word.
    2. When you continue in the Word, you will know the truth (or the Word), and it will set you free (John 8:31-32).
      1. Your freedom comes from the revelation you receive from the truth that you know.
      2. The Devil cannot feed you his lies when you have revelation knowledge.
      3. Nothing can stop you when you are possessed with revelation.
    3. The first degree of truth is the written Word.
      1. God speaks through His written Word.
    4. The second degree of truth is the prophetic (or rhema) Word.
      1. The prophetic Word comes as a result of diligently reading God’s written Word.
      2. It is the prophetic Word that causes breakthrough.
    5. Seek and you will find.
      1. To seek means “to research God; to inquire of Him.”
      2. When you are in the Word and the Word is in you, God will speak.
      3. To know what the Bible says is only the first level of knowledge of the Word.
      4. To experience the Word, you must spend time in it to hear the voice behind it.

  3. You cannot overcome adversity if you neglect what the Lord has spoken to you (Hebrews 2:3).
    1. Your way of escape will come in the form of knowledge (1 Corinthians 10:13, AMP).
    2. God is faithful to His love and His Word.
      1. Because God loves you, He will never allow you to be tested above your ability to win.
      2. He will say something to you that will show you what to do.
      3. Read the Bible, knowing that it is the way and that it will position you to receive the truth.
      4. The Word will give you boundaries so that you won’t follow the wrong voice.
    3. Sin will prevent you from hearing God’s voice.
    4. The root of every issue in your life is found in your love walk.
      1. The ultimate way of escape is a revelation of love between you and the Father, and between you and your neighbors.
