Summary:

Divine order—how God has set things to flow—is the prerequisite to miracles. Ignoring the proper sequence of things will cause you to always ask why things are not working. You must know
and operate in the proper sequence to see your heart's desires made
manifest.

  1. The anointing comes in the form of spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:1-14, 27-31).
    1. The anointing removes burdens and destroys yokes (Isaiah 10:27).
      1. It is God's ability on your ability to do what you couldn't do.
    2. The anointing is the personality of the Holy Spirit.
      1. All spiritual gifts come from the same Spirit.
      2. God does not want you to be ignorant concerning these things.
    3. The manifestation of the Spirit is given to you for profit (1 Corinthians 12:7).
      1. Christians have a special anointing inside of them.
      2. There is something wrong if things are not being made manifest in your life.
      3. God wants to use you to demonstrate to unbelievers that His Word will manifest in these last days.
      4. It's "show and tell time" in the body of Christ.
    4. There are diversities of gifts, and everyone has a role to play (1 Corinthians 12:12,14).
      1. The best gift to possess is the one that you need at the time.
    5. Operating in spiritual gifts is commendable; however, there is a more excellent way (vv. 27-31).
      1. There is a way that is better, greater and more powerful than all anointingswalking in love (verse 31, AMP).
      2. Not everyone can prophesy or work miracles, but everyone can develop in love.

  2. Without love, your spiritual gifts will fail (1 Corinthians 13:1-4, 8).
    1. You are wasting your time trying to get the anointing if you have not developed in love.
    2. Love never fails.
    3. The fruit of the Spirit is love.
    4. Love has different components.
      1. Failure to develop in every component of love allows Satan to come in and disrupt/destroy your life.
      2. The character of Jesus is the love of God, which is the fruit of the Spirit.
    5. Without love, you only see things in part (verse 9).
      1. Many Christians receive only part of their manifestations, instead of operating in wholeness.
      2. When you become developed in love, things will no longer be seen in part.
      3. If you allow your love to wax cold, your manifestations are placed "on ice."
    6. Your power is in the love of God.
      1. To fail, you must step out of love.
      2. To have guaranteed victory means that you continue in your love walk.

  3. God is love (1 John 4:7-8).
    1. Love never fails, because God never fails.
    2. When Jesus returns, He will identify His family members by their love (1 John 3:1-2).
    3. Everything on this planet operates either by the law of life in Christ Jesus or by the law of sin and death.
      1. You operate either under the life cycle or the death cycle.
      2. God, Who is Love, operates under the life cycle; selfishness operates under the death cycle.
      3. From love, faith manifests to bring the Word of God to pass; from selfishness, fear manifests to bring the words of the Devil to pass.
    4. You cannot operate in love and selfishness at the same time.
      1. Love does not consider itself.
      2. It is "not about you."
