Summary:

Your ability to hear from God is crucial to experiencing success and breakthrough. Therefore, you must have confidence in the voice of God and be quick to obey. When He speaks, the
anointing to get the job done is released.

1. The voice of the Lord breaks the strongholds in your life
   (Psalm 29:1-5).
   1. When you hear and obey the voice of God, there are no obstacles that can stand in your way.
   2. The Bible is God’s Word that came from His voice.
      1. You must know God’s written Word in order to understand His spoken Word.
      2. What He speaks will always line up with what is written.
   3. Reading the Bible alone won’t bring breakthrough.
      1. The Bible is the door that leads you into the secret things of God.
      2. When you meditate on the Word, God will speak.
      3. Breakthrough comes when you hear the voice behind the Word (a Rhema word).
2. Faith comes by hearing (Romans 10:17).
   1. Faith, which is the Word of God, is substance.
   2. Faith comes two ways: through the reading of the written Word and hearing a Rhema word.
   3. Paul saw the light and heard the voice of God on the road to Damascus (Acts 22:6).
      1. Those traveling with Him only saw the light.
      2. You can see the words written in the Bible, but can you hear the voice behind them?
      3. Spiritual deafness must be healed before you can be a candidate for great exploits.
