Summary:

Contrary to religious teaching, God needs people to pray in order for things to be accomplished in the Earth. Prayer is the key to getting God involved in situations and circumstances. Every

failure is a prayer failure and every success is because of prayer.

1. Prayer is essential to your success.
   1. Jesus instructed men to always pray and not get weary or faint (Luke 18:1).
      1. Every failure is a prayer failure.
         1. When you fail to pray, you plan to fail.
      2. Every success in life is a result of prayer.
      3. God can't do anything for humanity unless people pray.
         
         
2. God has not only created man in His image and likeness, He has also given man authority and dominion over everything in the Earth (Genesis 1:26,
   27).
   1. Dominion is the power to govern, control and direct.
   2. God has given you dominion on earth.
   3. God made man to have dominion (Psalm 8:6).
   4. Adam was responsible for naming all the animals on Earth because God gave him dominion (Genesis 2:19).
   5. God is not ruling on the Earth, man is.
   6. God's will is not carried out on Earth, except in the lives of people who yield to Him.
   7. Satan's goal was to get the dominion that God gave man.
      1. Satan spoke deceptive words that caused Adam to turn his God-given dominion over to him.
      2. God promised that the seed of a woman would crush the head of Satan (Genesis 3:15).
         
         
3. Jesus came to get dominion back from Satan.
   1. Jesus had to become sin so that He could enter Hell and get the keys of authority back from Satan.
      1. Jesus looked like He had sinned, but He was sinless.
      2. Jesus was a man who operated as God on Earth. He is your example of how to walk on this Earth.
   2. As a result of what Jesus did, you have authority over the ability of Satan; and nothing he does can hurt you (Luke 10:19).
      
      
4. Pray to the Father in the name of Jesus in order to get answers to your prayers.
   1. You can change situations and circumstances by praying and using the authority that God has given you.
   2. Not only do you have earthly dominion, you also have heavenly dominion.
      1. Whatever you bind on Earth is bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on Earth is loosed in Heaven (Matthew 16:18, 19).
   3. You have access to the supply of Heaven.
   4. Your authority and power lies in prayer.
      1. The most powerful thing a Christian can do is pray.
      2. Don't let life run you, run life by using your authority.
      3. You can change your circumstances today.
