Summary:The name of Jesus is higher than any other name because of the authority and power that have been vested in it. Praying to the Father in the name of Jesus is the key to receiving answers to

your prayers. Everything in Heaven, Hell and on Earth must submit to the
authority of the name of Jesus. When you speak it in faith, you will
get results.


  1. Jesus has given you authority over all the ability of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
    1. When Jesus rose from the dead, He gave you power over the devil.
      1. Although Satan still has a legal right to operate in the Earth, man has dominion over him.
    2. Jesus was obedient to go to the cross. He humbled Himself and submitted to the will of the Father (Philippians 2:8-11).
      1. Jesus went to Hell in order to set mankind free from Satan's power.
      2. All power was given to Jesus when He was raised from the dead.
    3. Jesus' power is vested in His name (Luke 10:17).
      1. Jesus' name carries with it authority and power.
      2. All things have been placed under Jesus' feet.
      3. The authority of Jesus' name is higher than angels, demons and principalities (Ephesians 1:19-23).
      4. Even demons are subject to His name.

  2. Jesus has obtained a more excellent name than any other name (Hebrews 1:3-7).
    1. The name of Jesus is higher than any other name.
    2. As a Believer, you have a legal right to use the name of Jesus.
    3. Every other name must submit to His name.
    4. You must have confidence in the authority and dominion you have through the name of Jesus.

  3. All things can be accomplished through the name of Jesus.
    1. Prayer is the key to getting things done on the Earth.
    2. Jesus said that men ought to always pray and not give up, faint or lose heart (Luke 18:1, AMP).
      1. You will receive answers to your prayers when you ask the Father in the name of Jesus (John 16:23, 24, AMP).
      2. When you pray in the name of Jesus, your joy will be full because you will know that God has granted your petition.
        1. Happiness is based on your circumstances, but joy is based on what you know.
        2. Your joy is based on the fact that you know you have answers to your prayers because you asked in the name of Jesus.
      3. Jesus said that all He has already belongs to you (Luke 15:11-32).
        1. All you have to do is ask.
