Summary:

God uses His Words as creative power and He made man in His image. What are your words creating in your life? The words you conceive in your heart

and speak out of your mouth release a spiritual force like dynamite.
Those words are rearranging and changing things. If you've spoken
negative words about your life, change your course by speaking positive
words.



  1. In the beginning, nothing happened until God spoke Words (Genesis 1:1-3).
    1. God's Words are His creative power.
      1. Although darkness covered the Earth, God said let there be light, and there was light.
        1. We were made in the image of God; therefore we should speak words that line up with His Word.
    2. Perverseness in speech eventually destroys you (Proverbs 11:3).
      1. Perverse speech is crooked and contrary to what you believe.
        1. Obey God, and avoid perverse speech.
      2. God's will is His Word.
        1. It's the truth whether you believe it or not.
      3. Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:20, 21).
        1. Words can turn on the life cycle or start the death cycle.
        2. What you don't know can destroy you.

  2. A bit in a horse's mouth turns its whole body, and a ship is turned about with a small helm (James 3:2-5).
    1. Once your mouth is in control, you'll control your life.
      1. It doesn't take much to get you off course.
        1. Simple phrases like, "I feel like I'm about to die," can be harmful.
        2. A small flame can become a great fire. iii. Negative statements amplify your problems.
        3. The words you conceive in your heart and speak out of your mouth release a spiritual force like dynamite.
      2. Your words can rearrange and change things.
      3. If you've spoken negative words, make a course correction.
        1. Repent, and begin making positive confessions.



  3. Continue speaking the Word of God (Joshua 1:8).
    1. Meditate on the Word of God, and you'll have good success.
    2. Allow faith in God's Word to impact your speech (John 12:47-50).
      1. Crooked or perverse speech decreases your faith.
      2. When you confess the Word, you're writing it on your heart (Proverbs 3:3, Psalm 45:1).
      3. When false and vain words are spoken, they can deceive a person's heart (James 1:26).
    3. In addition to speaking the right words, avoid sin or God won't hear you (Isaiah 59:2).
      1. Your sin and iniquities separate you from God
