Summary:

The Bible is the Believer’s manual for life, especially when you are faced with challenges. When it seems that you are in a ditch in life, it is imperative to remain focused on God and
His Word.

  1. God wants your undivided attention.
    1. You cannot have allegiance with the world’s system of operation and God at the same time.
    2. When something or someone tries to disrupt your fellowship with the Lord, the Holy Spirit will do everything He can to get your relationship
with Him back on track (James 4:1-5).
      1. The Holy Spirit will not idly stand by and allow you to get comfortable with the world’s system of operation and ungodly relationships.

  2. People often find themselves in a ditch for several reasons.
    1. Spiritual boredom
      1. The remedy for spiritual boredom is to become a doer of the Word and not only a hearer (James 1:22).
        1. Knowledge without application eventually becomes boring and unfulfilling.
    2. Hindered plans
      1. Satan will try to hinder the plans that God has for your life (1 Thessalonians 2:18).
      2. Regardless of what the devil tries to do to you, you must remember what God told you to do, hold on to it and act on it.
      3. Hindrances won’t change what God has said.
      4. God will bring to pass what He has promised.
    3. Dead-ends
      1. When you come to a dead-end situation, trust God (2 Corinthians 1:9).
      2. Don’t look at a dead-end as the ultimate end, look at it as a new beginning.
      3. Acknowledge dead-ends as the end of what you have been going through.
      4. Dead-ends can open up a flow of supernatural power in your life.
