Summary:

According to God's Word, Christians already possess the blessing that was on Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. However, a Believer can create a platform for the curse to operate in his or her
life through unfaithfulness. Being faithful is a key to withdrawing the
blessing that God has deposited in you.

  1. The blessing has already been deposited in you; Jesus has already blessed you. (Ephesians 1:3).
    1. Jesus has redeemed you from the curse and the blessing has been made available to you (Galatians 3:13, 14).
    2. You are an heir of the promise of the blessing because of the covenant God made with Abraham (v. 29).
    3. All Christians have the blessing inside of them, but sometimes they don't see the results of the blessing because they are operating in a curse, or empowerment to
      fail.
      1. If you are experiencing failure in your life, examine what the cause may be.
      2. A curse does not come without a cause (Proverbs 26:2).

  2. Faithfulness is a key to withdrawing the blessing.
    1. A faithful man will abound, or overflow with blessings (Proverbs 28:20).
    2. A faithful person is strict and thorough in the performance of duties, steady in allegiance, loyal, reliable and dependable.
      1. Faithfulness is doing what you were last told to do.
      2. Faithfulness is a continuous commitment.
    3. Abraham was faithful (Galatians 3:9).
      1. When God looks at your life, will He see you as being faithful and trustworthy?
      2. A man should be found faithful, proving himself worthy of trust (1 Corinthians 4:2).
    4. God must be able to trust you with the resources and anointing that He has given you.
      1. In the parable of the five talents, Jesus demonstrates the importance of faithfulness.
        1. A master gives his servant his goods to be managed (Matthew 25:14-30).
        2. The wicked servant's unfaithfulness blocked the blessing of God from operating in his life.
        3. When you are unfaithful, you won't know how to proceed in life; you will be "in the dark" when it comes to the path you should take.
      2. God will only bless you with what you are capable of handling.
      3. When God entrusts something to you, be faithful with what He gives you and He will give you more (Luke 16:13).
        1. Be faithful with the little.
        2. Be faithful with money.
        3. Be faithful with what belongs to another man.
    5. Faithfulness is a criterion for promotion (Psalm 75:6-7).
      1. Until you pass the test of faithfulness, you will be stuck in the same position.
    6. God honors faithfulness (Proverbs 27:18).
    7. Faithfulness is a refreshing quality in a person but it is hurtful to trust in an unfaithful person (Proverbs 25:13, 19).
    8. Faithfulness is considered a valuable asset in the Kingdom of God.
