Summary:

Christians should never leave home without putting on their spiritual armor. We should start the day communing with the Holy Spirit because He has the ability to clothe us with God’s
supernatural power. As Believers, we have an advantage. Therefore, we
should continue to acknowledge His indwelling presence in all we do.

A. “But you shall receive power—ability, efficiency, and might—when the Holy Spirit has come upon you” (Acts 1:8, AMP).

1. We have received the promise of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit. However, we must understand how to tap into the divine
enablement that comes from Him.

2. There are two ways to activate the anointing in our lives:

a. Praying fervently. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous person makes power available that is dynamic in its working.

b. Pursuing the anointing. Develop a hunger and thirst for the anointing.

B. We can be clothed with power from on high (Luke 24:49, AMP).

1. In everything we do, we should realize that the Holy Spirit can give us the advantage.

a. He gives us divine wisdom, which will save us time, money, and energy.

C. When we think of the Spirit of God as our shepherd, like David did in Psalm 23, we will lack nothing (Psalm 23:1-6, AMP).

1. Here are the advantages of allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us:

a. He helps us remain peaceful. We will fear nothing, although trouble may be all around us.

b. He leads us to abundance.

c. He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies.

d. He anoints us with His ability.

e. We will dwell in the house of the Lord, which means we will dwell in His presence. In His presence is fullness of joy.
