Summary:

There is an important key that you must remember to position yourself to see God's perfection and provision in your life. You must be in the place where God called you to be. This will be a
year of glory for those who are in the place God called them to be and
they will see Him perform mightily on their behalf.


  1. God has promised to perfect every area of concern in your life (Psalm 138:1-8).
    1. To be perfected means to be strengthened, to experience total fulfillment, and to have all of your needs met.
      1. God has provision for every area of your life.
    2. God will only provide for the things that accomplish His will for your life.

  2. Abraham is a perfect example of a man who obeyed God and arrived at his place of provision (Genesis 21:33-34).
    1. Abraham walked in covenant with God for many years and had confidence in His Word.
      1. He remained focused on God's Word.
      2. Like Abraham, you must attend to the Word in difficult situations (Proverbs 4:20-23).
    2. You must not cast away your confidence in the Word of God. If you do, you cast away your reward (Hebrews 10:35).
    3. Abraham followed God's specific instructions regarding the sacrifice of his son, Isaac (Genesis 22:1-14).
      1. God sent him to a specific mountain (v. 2).
      2. Abraham obeyed God in perfect detail (v.3).
      3. He saw, through the eyes of the Spirit, God's provision.
      4. He didn't fear because he had faith vision to see the promises of God (v.4).
      5. Abraham spoke prophetically that God would provide Himself a lamb—Jesus (v.8).
    4. At the point of Abraham's obedience, God stopped him because Abraham proved that he reverenced God enough to sacrifice his only son (v.12).
    5. Abraham experienced God's provision because he was at the appointed place and in right position with God.
    6. Had Abraham gone to the wrong mountain, his needs would not have been met and Isaac would have died.
      1. God saw ahead and made provision (Genesis 22:13-14).
      2. Abraham named the place of his provision Jehovah-Jireh.
        1. There is a place where God's provision can be demonstrated in your life.

  3. The church God has called you to is the place of provision for your life.
    1. Everything that will happen this year in the lives of Christians will come as a result of being in the right place.
    2. Many people's lives have been destroyed because they allowed the devil, offense and hurt to move them from the place (church) of their
      provision.
    3. If you stay connected to the place God has called you to, and apply the teachings of your man or woman of God, you will see God's provision in 2006.
