Summary:

The evidence of unbelief is fear. Satan is on a mission to convince people God's Word does not work. However, by replacing fear with faith, you can conquer any plan of the enemy. God has given you love, power, and a sound mind. You have everything you need right now to be successful in life. Remember, faith connects you to what you believe from God's Word. Fear connects you to whatever you are afraid of.

If you have fear, realize it does not come from God (2 Timothy 1:6, 7).
    1. God gives you power, which is the ability to get results.
      1. He gives you love and sound thinking.
      2. You will have a sound mind when you think in line with God's Word.
      3. Free yourself from the bondage of fear by believing His Word.
      4. When you are free from fear, you can receive the promises of God.

  1. God has placed before you the choice between life and death, blessings and curses.
    1. Life is a series of choices; you have been given a right to choose.
      1. You can choose to operate in faith or fear.
      2. Two systems are in operation in the Earth: the Kingdom of God and the world's system.
        1. The Kingdom of God is God's way of operating.
        2. The system of the world is Satan's method of operation. iii. God's system lines up with His Word; the world's system contains twisted truth.
        3. The foundation of God's system is unconditional love.
      3. The foundation of the world's system is selfishness.
    2. Fear is the reciprocal of faith.
      1. Satan perverts; he is the god of the world's system.
      2. Anything that does not line up with the Word of God is wickedness.
      3. Wickedness always contains a bit of truth; this is where deception enters in.
      4. Faith and fear come by hearing words.
        1. Whose words are you hearing?
        2. Faith and fear are spiritual connectors. iii. Faith connects you to what you believe from God's Word.
        3. Fear connects you to the things you fear most (Job 3:25).
      5. God's promises manifest in your life through your faith in His Word.
      6. Satan's plans for your life come to pass when you have fear.

  2. Examine yourself; what are you afraid of?
    1. A great deception in the Body of Christ is that fear is natural.
    2. Fear is not natural; it is introduced from the outside in.
    3. If fear were natural, it would have come from God.
      1. God is against things that are unnatural.
      2. When Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden, they did not fear anything.
      3. Fear came after the fall of man.
    4. Common fears people have:
      1. Fear of failure.
      2. Fear of making mistakes.
      3. Fear of heights.
      4. Fear of lack.

  3. The fearful and the unbelieving will have their place in the lake of fire (Revelation 21:7, 8).
    1. Fear and unbelief are tied together.
      1. The Word categorizes the fearful and unbelieving the same as murderers, liars, whoremongers, sorcerors, and those who commit other abominable acts.
    2. Anger can also be an expression of fear.
    3. Fear often begins small, but grows if you do not deal with it.
      1. If you refuse to deal with your fears, they will eventually become a reality in your life.
    4. Refuse fear and believe God's Word.
      1. Recognize God is your only source.
      2. The Bible instructs us that we have authority over Satan's ability.
      3. You are the establishing witness because you hold death and life in the power of your tongue.
