Summary:

The enemy is waging a war of containment against us; however, we must not limit God in what He can do for us. Every limitation in life will first exist in our minds. If our mind-sets are
limited, our lives will also be limited. We must renew our minds with
the Word of God.

1. Satan uses three things to limit Christians.
   1. Ignorance. We are cut off from the things we have a right to when we are ignorant of what God’s Word says.
   2. Deception. Satan wants to deceive us by making us think the truth alone will make us free. However, we must continue in the truth of God’s Word to be free (John 8:31, 32).
   3. Distraction (an intrusion of the mind that causes confusion). Satan uses care, worries, anxieties, and busyness to distract us. The distractions he sends are designed to disrupt our
      consistency in the Word.
      1. To be consistent in the things of God, we must have the right motive for doing what we do.
      2. Consistency is the key to breakthrough.
2. The enemy cannot contain us when we are operating in the love of God (Ephesians 3:14-18, AMP).
   1. God wants us to be strengthened with might by His Spirit.
      1. Might is an anointing of the Holy Spirit; it is the ability to do all things (Isaiah 11:2).
      2. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we receive the Holy Spirit, and we are equipped with might.
      3. All limitations can be removed from our lives. We must believe that we can truly do all things through Christ (Philippians 4:13).
