Summary:

To receive a harvest from God's Word, you must become like a sower and plant the Word of God in your heart, or spirit. You do this by reading and
meditating the Word on a constant basis. You must keep it before your
eyes, in your ears and coming out of your mouth. By planting the Word
in your heart, it will produce roots and make you a person of depth who
can withstand the storms of life.

Real love is born out of selflessness. We are to love God and others like we love ourselves. God's love was demonstrated when He laid His life down

for us. When you know God loves you and have confidence in His love,
your self-esteem will grow and you will more readily put selfishness
aside.

Sometimes, God allows trials to take place because He is trying to accomplish His purposes in our lives. God is not the author of confusion; however, He will allow us to go through things that test our faith and build our character. Often, we bring trials upon our own lives due to disobedience or neglecting our relationship with God.
