Summary:

Jesus came to Earth to sacrifice His life so that we could be free from sin and its generational effects. We were all born sinners (because of Adam’s sin). However, when we made Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we switched families. We are no longer children of the devil.

  1. When we become born again, we become alive in Him. In other words, we are no longer dead to God (Ephesians 2:1-3, AMP).

Summary:

It is vital that we do not view communion as just another religious practice, but as a significant part of our success as Christians. 1. Bequeath means to personally hand down to someone.
      1. We all can have the...

Summary:

The life of a Christian should be far from average because we have the power of God on the inside of us. We have the ability to impact the world, demonstrating God’s power through signs and wonders. However, the course of our lives will be determined by the way we think. Our thoughts will either cause us to fail or succeed as Christians.

  1. God has called each of us to operate in virtue and glory (2 Peter 1:3).
    1. Virtue means power.
    2. God does not want the Ch...

THANKSGIVING: THE ANTIDOTE FOR AGITATION.

Posted by Robert Bagonza on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 In : Teaching
Summary:

It is easy to become overly concerned about our negative situations. However, we are responsible for our emotions and perception. Therefore, we do not have to allow ourselves to be troubled by what we see. Instead, we can choose to have an attitude of gratitude by faith. When we give thanks, we choose to focus on the good things God has done for us.

  1. “We can take authority over our emotions” (John 14:1, 27, AMP).
    1. Negative emotions are designed to move us in...
