Fear will destroy your confidence and leave you powerless. Fear is based on selfishness, and Satan uses fear as a weapon against you. Without fear, the enemy can do nothing in your life. Examine yourself and identify your fears. Find out what God says about fear and make a decision to live by faith.

Summary:

Fear is a spiritual force that operates like faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. When you operate by fear, you expect negative things to happen to you, and eventually they will. When you live by faith, you expect and hope for the best. Fear opposes the Word of God, while faith is rooted in the Word of God.

Fear is the reciprocal of faith and allows Satan access into your life. Fear is a spiritual force, just like faith, but fear will bring to pass what you do not want to happen. Guard against praying fear-based prayers, or practicing biblical principles out of fear. Refuse fear and walk by faith.

Summary:

Words are "things" that take on substance every time they are spoken. The virgin birth of Jesus Christ took place because Mary believed the Word she received and gave voice to it by speaking it. When you speak words of faith, you release the spiritual material necessary to bring that "thing" to pass.
