THE POWER OF THE WORD (Part 1)

Posted by Robert Bagonza on Thursday, September 23, 2010

Summary:

The Gospel of Christ is the power of God, which is responsible for our healing, deliverance, preservation, wholeness, and prosperity. God’s
Word is the source of His power. Faith and the Word of God cannot be
separated. As Believers, we must learn to live by faith, starting with
making the Word our final authority in life.

  1. Christians must not be ashamed of their beliefs (Romans 1:16, 17).
    1. The Gospel is the Good News Jesus proclaimed on the Earth.
    2. The Gospel is the power of God.

Posted by Robert Bagonza on Thursday, September 23, 2010

Developing Trust in God

Summary:

As Believers, we must learn what it means to really trust and rely on our Heavenly Father. Quite a number of people believe God, but very few
actually trust Him. To trust God means to be dependent on Him and no
one else.

  1. Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed are those who put their complete trust in Him (Jeremiah 17:7, Psalm 34:8, 22, AMP).

      1. Jesus told us not to worry. The only way not to w...

AVOIDING OFFENSE

Avoiding Offense

Summary:

It is important for us to continually walk in the love of God in order to avoid becoming offended. Satan will try to do everything in his power
to get us to step outside the love of God. Once we step outside the
love circle, the power of God is short-circuited. Everything in the
Kingdom of God is based on love; therefore, we must choose to love even
when we are offended.

  1. If we say we love God, we must also love others (1 John 4:18-21).
    1. The enemy tries to lure us...

THE ARMOR OF LOVE

Posted by Robert Bagonza on Thursday, September 23, 2010

Summary:

Fear is a tormenting spirit, but many Believers hold on to fear because they do not know or understand who God really is. God is love, and He does

not want us to live in torment. Perfected love casts out fear. Love is
perfected when we obey God’s commandments to love Him with all our
hearts and to love others.

  1. In order for Satan to operate in our lives, we must open the door for him through fear (2 Timothy 1:6, 7).
    1. Fear is designed to separate us from the Word of God.

HOW TO GET OUT OF FEAR.

Posted by Robert Bagonza on Thursday, September 23, 2010

Fear of any kind gives Satan access to our lives. It is a demonic spirit, and we must refuse it with all our might. So what do we do when we
fear? We immediately consider God’s love for us and what His Word has
to say about the situation. When we know God loves us, we believe His
promises. Perfect love casts out all fear.

  1. Completely eliminate fear from your life (2 Timothy 1:6, 7).
    1. God is not the author of fear; it is a spirit that comes from Satan.
      1. God has given us the spirit of power, ...
