God's covenant of protection safeguards Believers from harm and danger. When you take refuge in God by consistently spending time in His Word and
declaring your safety, you'll be protected and covered by His presence.

  1. Your salvation includes safety and protection.
    1. God promises to eternally surround His people with His presence (Psalm 125:2).
    2. Believers don't have to live in fear because of the chaos in the world.
    3. God protected the Israelites from all danger (Exodus 14:19, 20).
      1. God always demonstrates His covenant of protection to His people.
    4. Job was a righteous man who had God's blessing and protection (Job 1:7-12).
      1. Satan knew Job was covered with God's protection.
      2. Job was protected even though Satan brought trials into his life.
    5. God eagerly watches and shows His strength on behalf of those who love Him (2 Chronicles 16:9).

  2. Take refuge and shelter in God's presence (Psalm 57:1, AMP).
    1. The safest place you can be is in the will of God.
    2. In times of adversity, take refuge in God, and He will shield you from distress (Isaiah 25:4, 5).
      1. Chaos can be going on all around you, but God shades you from its effects.
    3. God is a refuge to those who declare and make demands on their covenant with Him.
      1. When you speak God's Word, you're covered by His protection (Isaiah 51:16).
    4. God defends those who stand on His Word.
      1. God's presence is a place of stability, strength, and victory (Psalm 91:1-16).
    5. God leads, comforts, defends, and showers His mercy and goodness on His people (Psalm 23:1-6).

  3. Being in God's presence allows His power to flow supernaturally.
    1. The apostles operated in great power because they understood the name and protection of God.
      1. The apostles were able to perform great miracles because God was with them (Acts 5:12-16).
    2. The operation of God's power and protection exposes sin and wickedness (Acts 5:3).
      1. God's protective presence reveals evil
