Summary:

Hope comes from the Word of God, and is the fuse which activates your faith. Spending time studying the Word assists you in developing a prosperous

inner image and creates a foundation for unstoppable success.


  1. Hope is the fuse that activates your faith.
    1. Hope is an essential element of faith (Hebrews 11:1).
      1. Hope is an earnest, heartfelt expectation.
        1. Without hope, faith doesn't have anything to accomplish.
    2. When you're a stranger to your covenant, you're without hope, or hopeless (Ephesians 2:12).
      1. The Word of God produces hope (Romans 15:4; Psalm 119:81, 114).
      2. When God spoke to Abraham, He gave Abraham the hope of becoming a father (Romans 4:17, 18).

  2. In order for God to accomplish His promises in our lives our image must line up with His image (Genesis 15:2-5).
    1. Until you can see what God sees, you will not be able to inherit His promises (Numbers 13:30-32).
    2. One of the most powerful tools you possess is an imagination.
      1. Your heart manufactures thoughts and plans (Proverbs 6:18).
        1. What you imagine comes from within your heart; your imagination should be used to manufacture godly thoughts and plans.
      2. You can use your imagination to change your life.
        1. Once a blueprint is developed through your imagination, you can't be stopped (Genesis 11:1-6).
    3. How do you see yourself?
      1. Whatever you see on the inside is what you'll physically see.
        1. Bartimaeus changed the way he saw himself (Mark 10:46-52).
        2. The Bible says his faith made him whole.
      2. Allowing your inner image to be based on sources other than God's Word results in trouble.
        1. Ishmael was the result of Abraham allowing his inner image to be based on something other than God's Word (Genesis 16:15).
      3. To transform Abram and Sarai's inner image, God changed their names to Abraham and Sarah (Genesis 17:5, 15, 16).
    4. Allow the Word of God to change the image on the inside of you.
      1. Meditating on the Word produces an inner image of prosperity (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1-3).
      2. Meditating in secret results in public profit (1 Timothy 4:15).
