Summary:

God has given you an imagination, not to use for evil, but for good. What images are you creating in your mind? Those images are responsible for

your current life experiences. If you don't like your life, read the
Word and meditate on it, to create new images in your mind. See
yourself with the victory God has given you. Nothing is impossible for
those who use their imaginations the right way.

  1. Faith is the substance of things hoped for (Hebrews 11:1).
    1. At its beginning, hope is an image.
      1. Without hope, faith has no objective.
      2. Satan has taken hope from men and women of this generation.
      3. The Bible is a book of covenants.
        1. Without the Word, you are without hope in this world and without God (Ephesians 2:11, 12).
        2. The covenant gives birth to hope.
      4. Hope comes from the scriptures, which were written for our learning (Romans 15:4, Psalm 119:81, 114).
      5. Reading your Bible develops and increases your hope.
      6. In the world, hope quickly runs out.

  2. Hope is a desired goal obtained from God's Word; a confident, favorable expectation.
    1. When you're in expectation, you have an outstretched neck; you're looking for something.
      1. Christians need to be in expectation, especially at church.
        1. This is where many Christians have missed the mark.
        2. Expect something good everyday.
        3. Some people leave church every week and don't expect anything.
      2. When hope is expanded, your capacity for faith is expanded.

  3. God worked on Abraham's image.
    1. He told him to look at the stars, the sand, and said to him, so shall your seed be.
    2. He changed his name from Abram to Abraham.
    3. Satan wants to change your image also by using television, movies, famous people, etc.

  4. When God told Abraham to sacrifice his son, he got an image (Genesis 22:5).
    1. Since developing an image worked when giving birth to Isaac, Abraham created an image of his son being raised.
      1. He offered Isaac as a sacrifice by faith (Hebrews 11:17).
        1. He believed God would raise Isaac from the dead.
        2. God didn't let Abraham's image go to waste; He used it to raise His Son, Jesus, from the dead.

  5. Nothing will be restrained from those who put their imagination to work (Genesis 11:1-6).
    1. Once you've imagined it, it won't be impossible for you.
      1. You have to take time to draw hope from the inside and nothing will be restrained from you.
      2. You're not stuck; you can make your way prosperous through the Word.
