Summary:

Many Christians think they are powerless because they are not aware of the power they have within them. Jesus has given us power over all the
ability of the enemy. Every Believer has the right to use the authority
Jesus has given them to speak to undesirable situations and expect them
to change.

  1. Jesus gave power to those who received and welcomed Him in their hearts (John 1:12, AMP).
    1. He gave them the authority or right to become Sons of God.
      1. Power is the ability to get results.
      2. God wants His people to demonstrate His power in these last days.
    2. There may be areas in your life where the curse is operating instead of God’s blessing.
      1. Fear is connected to the curse.
        1. Deuteronomy 28 describes the blessings that are available to us as well as the curses that come from disobeying God.
      2. Whether you experience blessings or curses in your life depends on whether you choose to obey God or not.
    3. A curse is an empowerment to fail.
    4. A blessing is an empowerment to prosper.
    5. Disobedience produces curses; obedience produces blessings.

  2. The Kingdom of God is not based on mere words; it consists of moral power and excellence in your soul (1 Corinthians 4:20, AMP).
    1. This is an age of power; Christians will demonstrate that power like never before.
    2. Do not accept defeat; speak to situations in your life.
    3. God wants us to live under an open Heaven.
      1. When you speak, you should see the manifestation of what you say.
    4. For example, the woman suffering with an issue of blood spoke of her healing before she received it.
      1. She was a virtuous woman because she got results!
      2. She was desperate to see manifestation; so much so that she risked her life for it.
      3. The degree or measure you give to the truth you hear is the degree of manifestation that will come back to you.
      4. How much are you willing to invest in the things of God?

  3. Jesus has given you authority over all the ability of the enemy (Luke 10:17-19, AMP).
    1. Jesus’ disciples demonstrated this power.
      1. Refuse to allow God’s power to remain dormant in you.

  4. There is power in the tongue.
    1. Do not use your authority in the wrong way.
      1. Control your emotions; it is better to say nothing than to say something you will later regret.
      2. Speak God’s Word to undesirable circumstances; they must obey you.

    2. Make a commitment to trust God and stay focused on His Word.
