Summary:

God will do what you believe He can do. Your faith is the key to turning your hopeless situations around. In order to see the breakthrough power of God, you must turn your face away from
the world and focus only on God. Be intense about your prayers and make
sure that you have a perfect heart.

  1. God does things for you based on your belief in His ability.
    1. Anything is possible for those who have faith (Mark 9:22, 23).

  2. There are three things you must do in order to experience breakthrough in your life.
    1. Turn your face to the wall.
      1. When Hezekiah was in a near-death situation, he turned his face away from everything that hindered his view of God (Isaiah 38:1-3).
      2. When David was faced with an impossible situation, he sought the Lord (1 Samuel 30:1-6).
      3. One of the major hindrances to people seeing their hopeless situations turn around is they don't see God only.
    2. You must intensify your prayers (James 5:16).
      1. Prayers that are fervent are continual and intense.
      2. You must get violent with your faith in order to lay hold of God's promises (Matthew 11:12).
        1. Violent faith continually bombards the enemy with prayer, confession and effort so that he can't retaliate.
      3. Plead your case before God.
    3. You must make sure that you have a perfect heart.
      1. God looks at a man's heart (1 Samuel 16:7).
      2. God is looking at the heart that has intentions of doing His will.
        1. David had a heart that was always concerned with pleasing God (Acts 13:22).
        2. God is looking for people who are willing to submit to His program for their lives and not their own programs.
        3. God shows Himself strong on behalf of the person who is submitted to His will for his or her life.
          1. When you are in the will of God for your life, you are indestructible and protected.
          2. There is no safety outside of the will of God for your life.
          3. Your anointing resides in the will of God for your life.
