While money is a type of seed, the Word of God is the spiritual seed that you must plant in your heart in order to receive a harvest. Giving your finances is the corresponding action that
releases your faith in what you have already planted in your heart.

  1. God's Word is the gateway to prosperity.
    1. You must meditate on the Word of God in order to make your way prosperous (Joshua 1:8).
      1. Meditate on the Word by speaking it out loud.
      2. Meditation opens your spirit to hear what God has to say about your situation.
        1. God will give you wisdom and insight on how to prosper when you meditate on the Word.
    2. God desires for you to be wealthy.
      1. Wealth and riches are your inheritance (Psalm 112:1-3).
    3. When you plant the Word in your heart and meditate on it, God's glory will be seen in your life (Isaiah 60:1-2).
      1. The glory of God is His manifested Word.
    4. God's Word is the light that brings understanding (Psalm 119:130).
      1. When you are enlightened with the wisdom of God, glory, or manifestation, will follow.
      2. You must have intimate fellowship with the Word in order to get the instructions you need in order to prosper.
    5. Jesus came to prosper those who were poor (Luke 4:18; Matthew 11: 2-5).
      1. Spiritually poor
      2. Financially poor
    6. Money is not the seed, the Word is the seed. Sowing money is the corresponding action that demonstrates your faith.
      1. The amount of money you sow can greatly accelerate the production of your harvest.

  2. Laboring to be rich is laboring in the wrong direction (Proverbs 23:4).
    1. Disconnect from human wisdom and get connected to the wisdom of God.
    2. Make sure that your activities are producing progress and that you are not laboring in vain (Isaiah 65:23).
    3. Don't labor for perishable things; labor in the Word (John 6:26-29).
      1. The Word will always produce in your life.
    4. If you prosper your soul, you will prosper your life.
    5. God gave His Son Jesus, and He will freely give you all things that will benefit your life and make you whole (Romans 8:32).
