We must not allow the things we have heard from God’s Word to slip (Hebrews 2:1).

    1. Faith is essential to Kingdom living.
    2. Faith is born out of the Word of God.
    3. Faith is the victory Believers have over the negativity of the world (1 John 5:4).
      1. When we face situations and circumstances that contradict the Word, we must know how to use faith.
      2. Faith will cause circumstances to bow to the power of God’s Word.
      3. God intends for us to be victorious.

  1. We cannot please God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).
    1. We must believe two things:
      1. God exists.
      2. He will reward those who diligently seek Him.
    2. If we lack faith, it is not God’s fault.
    3. God has provided the means for everyone to have faith.
    4. We become saved through faith (Ephesians 2:8, 9).
    5. Faith must be in two places: the heart and the mouth (Romans 10:9-10).
    6. The “heart” is the center of our being; it is the spirit man.
    7. You cannot believe what you have not heard.
      1. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God preached (Romans 10:17).
      2. God has commissioned man to preach the Gospel (Acts 11:13, 14).

  2. The Word of God is the seed potential to get faith; however, faith is not fully in operation until you hear the voice of God speak directly to you for your situation.
    1. Expect to hear God speak to you.
    2. Consistent meditation on God’s written Word positions you to hear the spoken Word of God.
    3. If you can hear it, you can have it.
    4. The written Word of God is the access point for hearing a Word from God.
    5. A spoken Word from God will connect you to the ability to get results.

  3. The Apostle Paul did three things that released the power of God to heal the cripple at Lystra (Acts 14:7-10).
    1. Paul preached the Gospel.
    2. He perceived the man had the faith to be healed.
    3. He told the man to stand up and walk.
      1. The man heard the Word of God being preached, had the faith to be healed, and leaped and walked.
    4. The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation.
      1. Salvation encompasses more than being born again.
      2. Salvation is translated soteria in Greek, and it means healing, deliverance, preservation, and soundness.

    5. The Apostle Paul preached about the anointing.
      1. Physical healing is a part of the Gospel.
