Summary:

Power is the ability to get results, and there is undeniable power in the blood of Jesus. However, if we do not know about it, we cannot have faith in it. We must have faith in the blood of Jesus in order to appropriate it daily.

A.                  Here are six ways the blood of Jesus releases power in our lives.

1. The blood of Jesus has the power to free us from every stronghold of the enemy.
1. Satan wants to gain control of us through our thoughts; therefore, the battleground is the mind.
2. Each day we are involved in spiritual warfare. We must realize we are not fighting people, but satanic and demonic forces that are working through them (Ephesians 6:12).
3. The weapon we use to pull down strongholds is the blood of Jesus (2 Corinthians 10:4).
4. The power of His precious blood prevails against all satanic and demonic powers. It gives victory to every true Believer.
2. The blood of Jesus has the power to protect us from the onslaughts of Satan.
1. When the children of Israel were in Egypt, God told them to place the blood of a lamb on the doorposts. This foreshadows Jesus’ death on the cross (Exodus 12:12-13).
2. One of the plagues of Egypt was the death of the first-born of each household. The homes that displayed the blood of the lamb were not harmed.
3. When we are covered by blood of Jesus, the devil cannot harm us.
4. We must keep the Word of God and our faith in the blood of Jesus in our hearts to appropriate the blood of Jesus (Deuteronomy 6:6-9).
3. The blood of Jesus has the power to give us absolute victory in every storm in life.
1. We overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11).
2. Greater is He that is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
4. The blood of Jesus has the power to give us complete breakthrough in prayer.
5. The blood of Jesus has the power to release, for our enjoyment, all the benefits of our complete redemption in Christ Jesus.
6. The blood of Jesus has the power to make us winners on the face of the Earth.
