Summary:

Each one of us has a sphere of influence. We are impacting those around us whether we realize it or not. As Christians, Jesus has called us to spread the Gospel everywhere to gain territories for the kingdom of God. In order to do that, we must know our identities. We are children of God and have been given spiritual authority. Therefore, wherever we go, we must not be afraid to make a mark for Jesus that cannot be erased.

  1. “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15).

    1. Jesus has called all Christians to preach the Gospel to save souls.

    2. The purpose of the Great Commission is to obtain territories for the kingdom of God.

      1. We must refuse to become lackadaisical when approaching soul winning. Someone’s life is depending on it (Mark 16:16).

      2. Ask yourself, “When was the last time I led someone to the Lord?”

      3. Consider your immediate circle—neighbors, coworkers, friends, and loved ones—are you winning people over to the kingdom?

    3. When the disciples went out to preach everywhere, the Lord worked with them, confirming the Word with signs following (Mark 16:17-20).

      1. God will confirm His Word. He is not a respecter of persons, but He is a respecter of obedience to His Word.

      2. We must refuse to be hypocritical or worldly in these last days. We are called to be a light in this dark world.

      3. It is time to sincerely show the love of God like never before.

      4. True Christians have compassion for people and do not want to see them lost.

  2. We must refuse selfishness, or we will not be motivated to make a difference in the lives of others.

    1. Instead of being primarily focused on ourselves (even at church), we should constantly look for ways to be a blessing.
