It is easy to become distracted by our problems. And when we focus on our problems and our inability to solve them, we ignore God and His overall plan for our lives. God wants us to know Him on a deeper level. However, we cannot know Him or the depth of His love for us if we do not first turn to Him when the issues of life weigh us down. When we seek more of God, we will begin to grow stronger in Him and in His love.

Often, we do not know how vital something is to our lives until we don’t have it. For example, we need food and water to survive. When we lack a vital necessity—it becomes precious. How much more then is the value of the blood of Jesus? Without His precious sacrifice, we would all be sentenced to die spiritually, and endure eternal death.

What would we do if we could not go to God in troubled times? The precious blood of Jesus gives us the right to come boldly to God whenever we need Him. Therefore, when we pray, we should be sure to acknowledge Jesus’ invaluable sacrifice, and what it means to us personally.

Summary:

Power is the ability to get results, and there is undeniable power in the blood of Jesus. However, if we do not know about it, we cannot have faith in it. We must have faith in the blood of Jesus in order to appropriate it daily.

Many of us know about the blood of Jesus on a religious, traditional basis only. However, we must have an understanding of, and faith in, the power of the blood in order to appropriate it in our daily lives. Then, when we release our faith in the blood through confession, we will have what we say. We can use our faith in the blood of Jesus to attack every negative situation in life.

It is easy to get distracted in our busy world. However, we must not get too busy to remain connected to God. In His presence, we discover His plans and purposes for our lives, which allow us to have peace, despite what is going on around us. To enter His presence, we must come to Him with boldness and confidence, knowing we have a right to enter because of the blood of Jesus.

We are cleansed and empowered by the blood of Jesus. However, when we live a lifestyle that opposes the Word of God, we forfeit our blood-bought rights. Therefore, it is important that we judge our actions, and when we find ourselves opposing God’s Word, we should repent and forsake the sin. Doing so ensures our continuous mercy and fellowship with God.

We cannot deny the power of the presence of God. In His presence, we receive an empowerment to prosper. Therefore, when we enter into His presence, by the blood of Jesus, we must do so in faith. Our faith should be based on what the Word of God says about the blood of Jesus.

When people are continually involved in certain sinful lifestyles such as adultery, fornication, homosexuality, deception, and addiction, they often ask themselves, “Was I born this way?” Each of us is born with certain sin tendencies. However, we can overcome all of them by the blood of Jesus. But we must first allow Him to come into our hearts so He can change our nature.

When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, he caused all of mankind to be sinful. As a result, we are all born with a sin nature. However, we can be born again spiritually by confessing Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Jesus died so that we can be free of sin’s control over us. Jesus came to Earth to sacrifice His life so that we could be free from sin and its generational effects. We were all born sinners (because of Adam’s sin). However, when we made Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we switched families. We are no longer children of the devil.

It is vital that we do not view communion as just another religious practice, but as a significant part of our success as Christians. Eating the bread and drinking the juice symbolically represents eating Jesus’ flesh and drinking His blood. Therefore, we must take communion with an inward attitude of faith, while acknowledging all He is and all He has done for us.

Jesus has given us His peace, yet many things come our way day after day to move us away from it. For example, agitation is a mental state of extreme emotional disturbance. However, Jesus said we do not have to allow ourselves to be troubled, agitated or afraid. We can maintain our peace.

The life of a Christian should be far from average because we have the power of God on the inside of us. We have the ability to impact the world, demonstrating God’s power through signs and wonders. However, the course of our lives will be determined by the way we think. Our thoughts will either cause us to fail or succeed as Christians.

It is easy to become overly concerned about our negative situations. However, we are responsible for our emotions and perception. Therefore, we do not have to allow ourselves to be troubled by what we see. Instead, we can choose to have an attitude of gratitude by faith. When we give thanks, we choose to focus on the good things God has done for us.

When we have confidence in the protection of the blood of Jesus, we chase away our fears. Fear is Satan’s weapon against us, and it gives him access to our lives. Every day we hear news reports about various tragedies happening in the world, but when we trust in the power of the blood of Jesus, we are safe from all harm.

God does not want us to be agitated, worried or afraid. Jesus wants us to remember that we do not have to be troubled, even in these last days. We can keep ourselves from being emotionally disturbed. When we are troubled or agitated, we are operating in a form of fear. Fear connects us to the things we fear, and gives Satan access to our lives.

When Jesus was beaten, tormented, scourged, and nailed to the cross, blood poured from His back, head, hands, and feet; and He was also pierced in His side. Each place from which His blood flowed is significant because it represents a unique aspect of our deliverance. It is through these five points of victory that we have complete redemption and victory over satanic oppression.

Many times, we talk about the Gospel without understanding the meaning and significance of it. However, we must begin to truly discover the true meaning of the Gospel in order to take part in it.

An anointing is a divine enablement. Many times, we are greatly impacted by the anointing of men and women of God. We can partake of their anointing by sowing financial seeds into their ministries. When we give in response to the Word we receive, we take part in a supernatural exchange.

When we become born-again Christians, we initiate the process of operating in the blessing of God instead of the curse. However, to live a blessed life and remain free from curses, we must obey God’s Word. We must also understand the ways in which Jesus set us free so that we can have deliverance in every area of our lives.

Many people associate the concept of exchange in the Kingdom of God as wrong. However, throughout the Word of God, we see that God’s Kingdom operates according to a system of exchange. In fact, everything we do in life requires an exchange. It is through supernatural exchange that we participate in the anointing or the divine enablement of God.

Jesus took the curse upon Himself so that we could be blessed. However, many Christians are empowered to fail because they choose to travel down a path that brings curses. Jesus has redeemed us from all curses, but we must choose to obey God. Doing so activates the blessing instead of the curse.

We are holy when we allow our thinking to agree with God’s Word. It is vital to our success as Christians that we renew our minds with the Word of God on a daily basis. If we do not allow the Word to change our thinking and way of life, we will never know what it means to be holy.

Many times, it is difficult to distinguish Christians from worldly people. We should not love the things of the world more than we love the things of God. He wants us to share in His holiness so that we can see His promises come to pass in our lives. However, we cannot achieve holiness if we don’t pursue it.

What if you had only two years left on earth? What would you do differently? Many do not believe in heaven or hell, but the Bible gives us vivid descriptions of both places. While we are living here on the earth, we must make the choice to become born again and to live according to God’s Word. This is how we secure our eternal home in heaven.

Where are the Believers and unbelievers who have passed? Where will we go when we die? The answers to these questions can be found in the Word of God.

At times we become comfortable as Christians, and leave the work of soul winning to a specific group of Believers. However, God wants all of us to have a heart for winning souls. We should not sit idly by as people continue to go to hell. We must wake up to God’s urgent call to invite as many as we can into His Kingdom, while there is still time

God created both heaven and earth. Heaven, the dwelling place of God, is an actual place that is much larger and greater than the earth. We must develop our faith in the reality of heaven.

If we truly knew the beauty and awe of heaven, we would not focus so much on things here on earth. Heaven has been created with the truest and purest of luxuries—that far exceed all the pleasurable things on the earth. God has crafted a city in heaven that is so radiant it glows as brightly as the sun. It is a glorious city with a crystal clear river and a foundation of precious jewels

When we conquer our negative circumstances, we position ourselves for promotion. We must overcome the small issues in life that agitate us before we can move on to greater endeavors. God wants us to trust Him even when we feel we are able to take control. In doing this, we learn how to develop complete trust in Him.

In order to live a life of holiness, we must align our thinking with God’s Word so that His power and favor can flow through us. Holiness must be a way of life for the Christian.

There is a path we must follow if we want to see God’s power flow in our lives. That path is holiness. When we are of one mind with God, we are holy. Holiness is vital in these last days because God is the one who allows His power to flow. Therefore, we must become holy vessels for His use. Being holy means being on the right path; walking with God. Being unholy leads to the path of self-destruction.

God has a purpose for all things. When Jesus was crucified, they nailed His hands to the cross. The blood that flowed from His hands signified our freedom from the curse of poverty. The blood flow also released the blessing of abundant life upon Believers.

When we choose holiness, we are choosing to give God priority in our lives. Holiness is being of one mind with God; it is aligning our thoughts to agree with His Word. One of the main hindrances to holiness is financial corruption. It is easy for us to be led astray in today’s fast-paced and materialistic society. One area of our lives in which Satan can frustrate us the most is our finances. Many people struggle to make ends meet while others continue to live from paycheck to paycheck. Mounting financial pressure causes stress and other health problems; however, we no longer have to be subject to financial bondage. We can proclaim our freedom from the curse of poverty and begin to operate in the blessing today.

Holiness is being of one mind with God. To develop holiness we must choose holiness, and then perfect it. There are three enemies to holiness: immorality, financial corruption, and rebellion. Being rebellious means resisting authority. Rebellion can be subtle but destructive, nonetheless.

Obedience is the key to living the abundant life Jesus died to give us. When we obey God, we connect to His blessings. However, our disobedience disconnects us from God and His provision. Disobedience produces spiritual and physical poverty.

Rebellion can rear its ugly head in any church, business, or organization. Like an infection, it spreads quickly. Therefore, we must know how to recognize it and stop it before it gets out of hand. Rebellion cannot be taken lightly; it must be dealt with and uprooted immediately after it is discovered.

Many people think poverty and prosperity are words that only describe the state of one’s finances; however, these terms involve much more than that. The Bible describes poverty, or being poor, as being insufficient in any area of life. Prosperity is abundance in every area of life. Prosperity is a result of God’s blessing. And poverty is a curse, the result of disobeying God.

As Christians, our challenge is to live in this world without becoming worldly. Someday the world and everything in it will pass away; however, the Word will never pass away. Therefore, we must train ourselves in the Word, just as soldiers train for combat. Satan is constantly seeking whom he may devour in these last days. If we are not living holy, we will be defeated by temptation.

God wants His people to be successful in every area of life. Many Christians have a difficult time accepting this; however, the Word contains many promises of total life prosperity. One of the first steps to receiving His promises is to believe that it is His will for us to prosper.

We can all live a radically changed life. All that is required is obedience to God. As we grow spiritually, there are levels of maturity He expects us to reach. He also expects us to move from fear to faith, in obedience to Him. He wants us to learn His Word and do it without wavering.

Many people accept insufficiency in their lives because they believe lack is simply a part of life. They erroneously believe that God teaches us lessons through poverty. However, this is far from the truth. Poverty destroys people and God is not the destroyer. Poverty is a creation of Satan. God wants to see His people prosper in every way, even beyond their own imaginations.

Prosperity is not just about money. God desires to prosper His people beyond their expectations; however, we must understand that prosperity in His Kingdom will require His standards. We cannot get around the fact that we must cultivate a relationship with Him, have faith, and receive His instructions. When we renew our minds with His Word, we take one of the first steps to receiving the God-kind of prosperity.

From society’s point of view, prosperity is only defined as financial success; however, the God-kind of prosperity, while including financial success, extends to every area of life. We can prosper mentally, physically, spiritually, socially, and financially in the Kingdom of God. A fool is a person who refuses to accept God and His wisdom. Therefore, the worldly-kind of prosperity, which consists only of money and material things, destroys the fool.

How do we live the blessed life? We must first believe that God wants to bless us. According to His Word, His plan has always been to bless His people. However, when we refuse to believe it, we separate ourselves from His provision. God’s best for His people includes a life of abundance, not lack. This truth is confirmed throughout the Bible.

Simply reading God’s promises in the Bible does not make them come to pass; however, finding the promise we need in God’s Word is the first step to receiving it. Once we receive the promise, we must believe it, speak it, meditate on it, and accept it. We must also be sure to be obedient to God’s Word and do what is pleasing in His sight to see His promises manifest in our lives.

The term “the fear of the Lord” describes the attitude we should have concerning God and His ways. It is an attitude of respect and reverence that moves us toward holiness. It is also the mind-set that hates what God hates and loves what He loves. When we take His side against evil, He rewards us by honoring us, blessing us, and empowering our lives.

Summary:

What does it mean to abide in the blessing? It means we abide in God’s empowerment for success. However, His empowerment only comes when we have proven to be disciplined, faithful, and obedient, which is the essence of fearing God. To fear God means to do what pleases Him and refuse to do anything that displeases Him.

Jesus shed His precious blood from His feet when He was crucified, giving us dominion over Satan. As His feet were brutally nailed to the cross, a prophetic Word from God was coming to pass. Jesus ultimately defeated Satan and took back the dominion God had given mankind in the Garden of Eden.

Now, more than ever, we must become radical in our faith and radical about the things of God. People in the world are radical about wickedness; however, Christians should be more radical about God’s way of doing things. In the Bible, we see many examples of people who were determined to have radical faith. We can also have that type of faith today.
